GABRIEL has over twenty-two years well-rounded experience in design, technical and commercial project and construction management, having worked in Private Practice, for Design and Build Developers and Civil Engineering Contractors, with experience spanning new build, refurbishments, residential, leisure, retail and infrastructural developments, both in Nigeria and Europe.

Since 2009, in addition to founding Gabonn Associates Limited, he managed in parallel, as Director of Projects the Lagos operations of, Cachez Turnkey Projects Limited, a Design & Build, Project Management and Development Contractor, combining Client Liaison, Design, Technical and Commercial Management Duties, covering several High Net projects, including high-rise and multi-unit residential and commercial developments, managing and overseeing external consultants detailed design and production information process, with significant international liaison with offshore Subcontractors, Architectural, Structural, Infrastructural and M&E Engineering Consultants and liaison with local consultants, municipal and state government departments and parastatals Prior to 2009, Gabriel worked with various Civil Engineering Contractors and Developers in the UK, including Ardmore Construction Limited, St George PLC, Fairview New Homes and Five Anchors Limited, in a broad design and technical management role, in the built environment industry. He was also seconded to major site Design and construction management roles to Sir Robert McAlpine and Bluewater Construction Management Team, during the execution of large retail and infrastructural projects, with significant road, bridge building and man made lake structures.

Other duties included responsibility for the technical management and delivery of these projects through conceptual, feasibility and master planning stages, coordinating the tendering and detailed design process, managing the liaison between the business and the statutory authorities, to ensure all the relevant statutory approvals are in place as required by the programme.

Gabriel started his career in Lagos, as an architect with Image Arch, in 1992 after graduating with a Double Bachelors in Environmental Design and Architecture, with Distinction in Project, from the University of Lagos in 1991. He emigrated to the UK in 1993 and worked for several practices, before joining one of the top 5 architectural companies in the UK, Benoy Limited, in 1997, where he left as a Senior Project Architect in 2005, to work for civil engineering and design & build contractors.
